What You Will Do As Director of Engineering, you will lead a high-performing team in architecting and implementing innovative e-commerce solutions, leveraging your deep expertise in Django and Python. You will drive the strategic development and operational excellence of our Shopify platform integrations and oversee the deployment and management of our microservices architecture using Kubernetes. Your responsibilities will include fostering a culture of technical excellence, guiding the team through complex integrations, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of our systems, informed by your understanding of UI/UX design best practices.

Who You Are You are a seasoned engineering leader with a proven track record of successfully building and scaling complex web applications, particularly within the e-commerce domain and with a strong command of Python and Django. Your experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and infrastructure as code with Terraform demonstrates your ability to manage robust, scalable systems, making you an ideal candidate to guide our technical vision.
